Thank you for the video. Watching from the Netherlands, I find the empty storefronts distressing and depressing. Although I am glad to see that numerous old buildings remain, I hope that the residents of Joplin may one day revitalise their town centre. It has potential! By the way, albeit a Dutchman, I taught at a small private school in Rockford in the '80s.

@@battlefoxx Hartelijk dank! Yes, I am fortunate to live in a glorious town (Middelburg) that teems with character, history, and activity. There is no dearth of tantalising, enchanting villages and mesmerising city centres in the Netherlands. Like Americans, the Dutch also embraced the car culture after WW II. Much to my relief, they recognised the folly of such an approach, and they did not decimate their towns and cities with ubiquitous wide roads and motorways.

I really appreciate this video. I have lived in MV (hi neighbor!) and this is the first video I have seen explaining this. When I couldn't figure out what to do I hired a gardener to trim them and he did remove what was dead and he cut to the ground the outside edge. Wasn't sure about that.

That was an oriental cockroach. Very rarely infest homes to the point of nuisance. They are occasional home invaders usually of moist basements. They are commonly found outdoors in damp environments tho. Very different than the well known German cockroach. 🪳

we have both species here in western algeria and i'm considering using both for a reforestation project i have on my mind . do you think it's possible to graft the brazilian pepper on the peruvian peppers what would happen? the peruvian pepper tree here is an amazing tree for drought and bad soil it grows really well but the brazilian peppers not so much but looks much better. do you think it's possible to merge both words?
@battlefoxx12 күн бұрын
i don't see why not? they are the same genus. However, if it does work putting a peruvian over a brazilian...you are still going to get brazilian shoots coming out at the base, and they roots spread out a lot, then resprout as new trees. pretty invasive.
@Ab-cj6gl12 күн бұрын
@@battlefoxx i'd like it to be invasive. this area is becoming a desert so i have 2 options either sand or peruvian peppers and i choose the peruvian peppers lol
