Lijepa i tužna pjesma romantičarska žalopojka, ali iskrivljene činjenice, janjičari nisu bili razbojnici i palikuće već elitna osmanska vojska koja je boj bila na bojnom polju i pobjeđivala a ne palila sela i ubijala djecu i žene...to je četnički način ratovanja. Treba biti objektivan.

No matter how much you deny it, half of the genes of the Balkans are Turkish. Regardless of the Roman empire, there were empires like Byzantium in the past. Good or bad. One of them was from the woods, and people married each other. A Serb is at least as Turkish as a Turk. A Turk is at least as Greek as a Greek. If you don't agree, take a DNA test. I built it and 20% balkan, 43% anatolian and the rest of the balakn and Turkish came out. Greetings from Turkey.

I am Bosniak and I can only tell you that genealogy is a very complexed sience. Bosniaks, Serbs and to a large extent Croats have been heavily influenced by Ottoman cukture but also by othee people and cultures. Combination of haplogroups of Bosniaks, Serbs and Croats is not that close to the one of Turkish people. Regarding culture that is somewhat different story.

You're wrong, Turkish people was free, only Christian people changed religion to be Turkish they think it is more easy to leave their lives. Every sultan had cristina's blood. They had kids with cristina's woman that was in the harem. Turkish women was free and they didn't make kids with sultan. Sultan made kids with slaves women and janicar made kids with sultans douthors. Not all, only some of them if became a vaziri.

All my Turkish brothers and sisters, do not even listen what haters are gonna say. Each time i see them, they keep babbling same nonsense. If they really wanna know what reality is they can come Turkey and go to Ottoman Archives to look at whichever topic they want. @@eelwiss Nije to baš tako bilo. Ova pesma pokazuje sasvim drugu istinu. Većina tih Turaka (Janjičara) su bili poreklom Srbi. I kroz danak u krvi za tih “500” godina je odneto na milione Srpske dece u današnju Tursku. Tako da je mnogo Srpske krvi i gena među današnjim Turcima.

@@doga9670 they were allowed to marry after 40. Also DNA studies have shown the average Turk only has 13% - 20% Turkic DNA. The rest is mainly Anatolian, Greek, Balkan, Slavic and Middle Eastern. On average it's in that order too. Much of Turkish culutre is also derived from Greek Anatolian and Byzantine culture. You can compare Turkic cultures like the Stanistans to Turkish and you will see it's very different, but compare Turkish culture to Greek and Balkan and you will see it's very similar

@@emZee1994 Propaganda at its finest! Modern Turks are genetically admixture of turkic and native anatolians. Janissaries were special units and they were so small in numbers compared to whole army. Plus, janissaries were not allowed to get married until 18th century. If you wanna lie, at least create a logical one. Most of the greeks are not even greek, they are bunch of hellinized slavs, native anatolians, albanians, georgians(pontics) with some turkic dna. We all know that every single balkan man has turkish genes even if it is low

@@nothingpersonal2846 elbette istemem ama ben iki durumu karşılaştırdım. Osmanlıyı bu şekilde lanse etmenin yanlış olduğunu düşünüyorum hele de bunu sırplar yapıyorsa. Eski ve yakın tarihe biraz ilgin varsa anlatmak istediğim şeyi anlarsın. Sırplar bebekleri ve kadınları öldürdü ama osmanlının yaptığı orduya ve devlete üst kademe yönetici yetiştirmek.

Those yeniçeriler 'janniseries' have beaten cristian armies for centuries. They were the most special units at the center of the ottoman army. They were closest to the sultans in battlefield and in peace time. Victories has always depended on their axes, swords, spears. They have loved their job, sultans and İslam. If they hadn't loved, how would they have been so successfull?? and why have they never betrayed Ousmanly 'ottomans' on battlefield??

They were taken as kids and educated in Islam, so most of them did start loving that religion logically, but there are some examples of janniseries who did remember their birth place and tried to do something for domestic people(like Mehmed Pasa Sokolovic)

After that, you can talk about what you learned. İn history, Turks have 15 big countries other than ousmanly, which hasnt got any jannisarries (newsoldier). And 3. Sultan of ousmanly established yeniçeri system. And 30.sultan destroyed that system because it had been harmfull for the country at the last 2 centruies. First 200-240 years were good.
