It is such a beautiful experience to see and touch some of these famous and not so famous horses!! 💕Thank you Old Friends for giving all these presious angels a wonderful home!! Pls support Old Friends, both places. One in New York. Michael has been a godspent to horse. I spent a day with him. As I own thoroughbreds, we had a great conversation. It was obvious the love him, & the horses share.

To walk into a barn, & smell the sweet smell of a horse, & to kiss that velvet area of their muzzle is heaven. To hear them whinny in greeting, makes your day. And in their eyes, you see the spirit of God. Love, honesty, loyalty, & friendship. A willing partner. Life without a horse 🐴 is empty, & sad. God graced me with these magical creatures. Happiness is a horse.❤❤

A great place. I visited with Michael several years ago. We talked of horses, I told him about my thoroughbred. It was obvious the love between him., & the horses. PLS visit. Pls support his farms. 1 in New York too.

He looks way too young to be retired! My only bet ever on a horse race was I'll Have Another to win the Derby in 2012. (I was not there; it was at a casino.) Can't remember the odds, but it was around 15:1.

Just went to visit charm at old friends this past week. Charm has his tongue hanging out sometimes due to dental surgery he had recently. Other than that, he looked great and relaxed. He's showing his age some, but he's 30!! Glad he's gotten to live a long healthy life and deserved his retirement home. Fun fact, Touch Gold who beat him in the belmont in 97, is at old friends too! So the old rivals ended up together on and off the track.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if Zenyatta herself could be transferred from Lane’s End to Old Friends ( assuming there’s a compatible retired mare to hang out with her now that her breeding career is reportedly over would be a huge attraction and she apparently loves meeting fans and cameras so seemingly a good fit 😬❤️❤️❤️
