I had the 12 AR and after 8 months I sold it and bought a Eddyline skylark. I found the 12 AR sluggish and tracking was terrible, kayak kept wanting to pull to the left. It was ok in calm waters but terrible in open water with waves and wind

They don't bother to include the towel anymore. So be sure if you get this to use your own towel. I wouldn't even bother to buy theirs.

How do you sharpen a reverse scallop serration? And can you show the sheath in more detail, it appears to be less retentive than the old one, not more...

I would never do the West Coast Trail on Vancouver Island. I think someone figured several thousand people a year use that trail in the summer so they’re all gonna hike about 10 miles a day so we’re all gonna camp in the same spot and crap in the same spot Not for me thanks

I remember a story from years ago that somebody pooped in the hood of their jacket. I don’t know how they would do that. But I guess they got a surprise when they put their jacket and a hoodie back on. Maybe that’s where the term shithead came up

59 pounds ? YIKES ! For $2000 I expect a 14 ft. canoe to weigh in at about 35 lbs. My old Mad River Slipper, 15 ft., comes in under 45 lbs.

Short sweet and to the point. I'm 5,11 using a kayak seat on a 35" wide paddleboard. Thanks to your video I know what to go for. 98" long should do, right? Thanks you!

This looks awesome. Would you recommend removing the fin to avoid catching rocks?
@daveblair97665 ай бұрын
No. Fit (shorter white water) fins instead. Try your board on flat water without a fin and see how difficult it is to maintain the direction you want. Then imagine trying to do this when the flow is pushing you in all sorts of directions.

I wonder why they replaced the Frenzy and the Scrambler with these inferior models. It seems like many people preferred the originals. I wish they didn’t remodel the Malibu two xl, in the newer model it seems like you can’t use the middle seat for solo paddling on the two xl.

When you're demonstrating... the two shafts aren't exactly at the same angle, and if the bent shaft is bad for us paddlers why are you selling them to the customer contributing to injuries?

Bent shaft is not bad for paddlers... That's the whole point of the video.
