CBS was a "basket case" as far as ratings were concerned in the 1989-'90 season. "THE FAMOUS TEDDY Z" lasted one season.

I’ve been looking for this commercial for years! I always thought it was cute. I only saw it a couple of times - it didn’t seem to stay in rotation on TV that long.

I grew up in a small town in Southeast Alabama and all we had was CMT, BET, and TNN as far as music channels go. No MTV or VH1 in this one horse town. Not until 2003 and by then they were shells of their former selves.

What was the third video shown on the Video PM bumper?
@jwgreek860610 ай бұрын
Video PM was the first place I saw the "Bop" video and I developed a crush on the lady and that is when I decided I liked women who wore red high heels. I remember unlike the version on KZbin they showed the couple's shoes. The man's shiny black leather loafers and his dancing partner's red mary-jane heels when Dan sang "bebop" would love to see that version again.

The first season of the Simpsons I read was a production nightmare. I am glad someone recorded the promos as we get to see gaffes and deleted scenes that were not in the finished episodes. For instance, yellow Snowball at four seconds. Wow. I would love to see a complete cut of Some Enchanted Evening with the original reject animation. I guess Bart the Genius was the earliest episode to be finished. The aforementioned had a strong Tracey Ullman Era feel to it. The first scene with the Scrabble game, particularly.
