I just concerned about the chemical. I know it’s less than a relaxer. There are lawsuits against hair products by companies that caused cancer. Just trying to keep my hair natural these days seems like a major project.

Haha! My hair is naturally full and thick so I guess, however, now I’m back to natural. But when it was relaxed, I did it monthly then I started to do a month and a half.

You apply some of the mixture to a small section of your hair to see how it reactions. I suggest you do it in the back.

I have in the past washed my hair the day prior to a relaxer. .. for what reason I can not remember but I do remember I was surprised nothing terrible happened

thats good to know! Some ppl do scratch/scrub their scalp when washing their and may get the relaxer on their scalp and it cause irritation so that is why i had suggested to give it some time.

Yes you can wash and moisturize your hair as you normally do. I suggest using a paddle brush, it’s not too hard and it can still comb through your hair
