I'm such a dumb foreigner. I wanted to get a room here but it was so quiet so I assumed it was not open or something. Awkwardly stood around and ending up roaming the airport for a bit until I got too tired and asked a help desk lady for a hotel. I ended up staying at the Royal Park, which was very nice, and I do recommend. I also got coffee at that same shop.

А почему вы так мало еды положили в тарелку с отделениями? Надо было каждый квадрат тарелки заполнить разной едой, чтобы показать что выбор блюд большой и какая есть вообще еда.

What app are you using to measure the speed and it even shows the train route?
@10min_Travel2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment.😎 It's an app named "Speedmeter". The train route is displayed in Google Earth Pro.

Fun fact: The front of the train was inspired by the beaks of kingfishers. It is designed so that when the train exits the tunnel, the noise pollution will be at its minimum and would not disturb the buildings near the tunnels.

I looked into this as well and you're right. I was very curious as to what was inside this long nose.😀

@@10min_TravelWouldn't the nose be where the engine is? Or is the engine somewhere else in the Shinkansen?
@Andrew-se9be28 күн бұрын
On the shinkansen trains, all axels are usually powered, though there have been exceptions to that where some cars where unpowered. So unlike many western high speed trains which have a power car, usually one each end, the shinkansen are EMU or electric multi unit. The alfa x follows in the footsteps of its predecessor test trains in having two different nose profiles, one each end to test noise levels, and is also testing different window geometries.
