From the video description: The problem ended up being the CANISTER PURGE VALVE in the Evaporative Emission Control System (EVAP). Found this online: www.ferberstireandauto.com/blog/what-is-a-canister-purge-valve-and-how-does-it-function Repair parts were about $450

Ok where is this part (Canister) located? is this the one next to the gas tank or engine? Thanks

Where did you buy the canister purge valve and how hard was it to install? My 2016 XC60 is gurgling and also keeps stopping when trying to put gas in the tank.

I had it done at Volvo Service. They said it was hard to change, they charged 2 hrs of service. I think it’s $220-250 per hour. Pretty expensive!

@@miguelreyes98 Got it... Yeah the dealership is crazy expensive... I am going to try and find an alternative mechanic for this one... Did you also have issues filling your car up with gas?

@@phillipgerdes yeah. Same issue of the pump stopping all the time when filling up with gas.

It was the canister purge valve. I put it in the video description. Click on the three dots on the upper right.

@@miguelreyes98 apparently according to dealer there's 2. One by the engine and another under the car by the gas tank. Do you recall which one? And did you happen to get the parte number?? Thank you
