when a song is famous for the singer voice it becomes a hard test for any singer

Pretty dang good rendition. Loos like a young Meatloaf playing behind those gals.

SB is good-looking but essentially uncomfortable here. Maybe if she had tied her hair back...

I'm impressed that the horn players had those backgrounds memorized. They're off in the mix, but some of those parts are tricky.

Nice playing kids but what did we really learn from this? Never... ever... ever... let the guitar player's mom run the mixing board!

Fantastic evening at the Gothic. Have missed OGB for so long and was so psyched to make this reunion show (which is hopefully just the beginning of additional shows in the future). Thanks for posting the vids- much appreciated.

What a wonderful job on that guitar! Makes all the difference. How luck we were growing up in the late sixties & early seventies! So glad these kids know how good the music is.

Not bad, but the boy fronting the band on the mike should have went over the lyrics before he sang the song. It was a real life story for Donald Fagan. Either he needed to put more effort in his vocals or had sound push his slider up.

sorry, not very well mixed; vocals too low, percussion too high. ( I see others have made similar comments)
@davegarfinkel52516 ай бұрын
This is very weak. Great song. Unfortuneately, the band looks boerd and like they were forced to play it and did not want to. There is no joy/soul/rock here- it looks like a pop quiz to them or a class project ehre everyone hated the tpic as well as each other. The guitarist is skilled and carried the band until his showboating at the end. The production is also poor. Compare this to a well done cover by school of rock: kzbin.info/www/bejne/h6jPg3qJZd14jKM -

Who mixes the sound for these students? They work way too hard for a crappy mix with the guitars and drums drowning out everything else (including the vocals).
