3:42 what model are you working on? I’m looking to know to let off the tension on the drivebelt tensioner on a 2012 pathfinder r51 diesel. I think mine is a spring loaded tensioner. Want to know where to turn it, which was, what tool? Thank you

4:15 Hey guys, Just a thought…. Don’t put the engine cover back on. They are a heat trap and because of that, the vacuum lines perish a lot faster than without the cover on.

Edit: Snapped the bloody tensioner bolt... Exactly what I've been looking for, thanks mate. Would have liked to see how the tensioner gets done back up but I'll have a crack at it. As far as other videos, anything that helps keep it on the road, common issues, basic fixes similar to this would be great.

I did the tenioner bolt up but i ceck that the belt has a little bit of twist ( just under 1/4 of a turn ) but still has plenty of tenion then i tighen up the hold down nut on the pulley, thanks for watching🍻👍

Changed mine twice now first one was a cheap one for £50 and failed after 10,000 miles then bought a denso one for £80 and works brilliantly, make sure you buy genuine peeps 😊

Try to touch those wheels after a good ride. They are smoking hot. Nothing wrong with the hub seals. You are burning them up. You need to go through the brakes and see whats dragging. I'd say you are missing some rattle springs, or the rotors have excessive runout, the calipers are stuck or the parking brake is rusted. Probably some of everything.

No mate there faulty seals ,the little springs that push the lip of the seal to make it seal were to weak and the lip of the seal just folded in on its self ,thanks for watching👍🍻

Use dryer sheets, the smell deters them. Obviously around areas where they will not melt. Like around the shocks or washer bottle

Excellent Did a 202 0n a budget 30 years ago flywheel lighten, starfire rods, balance, fast streetcam, then ground out the intake port divider replaced those 3 head bolts with a cap screw. Drilled out the bolt hole and ran a home made spot facer down for the capscrew to land on. Massively opened up the ports.

My 07 d40 navara cant handle revving to 4000rpm, sounds like its revving out at 2500rpm, i havent floored it or taken it to 3000rpm becuase i think it might blow up lol some thoughts and ideas would be great 😊

Waaay easier through the wheel arch. Removed the liner and it’s just sitting there. Always do a fuel pump reset after.

I’ve been looking at EGR deletes, I’ve heard one of the reasons to avoid it is to prevent knocking or the exhaust overheating. Have either of those issues occurred for you?

Ive had no issues ,exhaust gas / egt's/ over heating would be becuase of over fueling and being diesel they knock carry on because thats what diesels do unless its got bad mechanical problems thanks for watching 👍🍻

@@pushrodtv6623 Thanks man, so I've replaced the tie rod and rod ends but only eyed them in as I totally forgot how many turns on each end so now any turns that aren't gradual I feel an almost juddering through the steering wheel. Could this be because I just centralised the tie rod and equalised the rod end turns till I got my overall width and refitted? This may be a basic question but it was my Dad's baby n I never REALLY paid attention and since he passed last year I've been feeling shitty about not knowing much more than brakes, plugs filters n fluids.
