I know Hainer and Moore trade cars once in a while but I thought I saw the yellow # 6 when they announced the line up and at 26 mins he announced Moore crashed and then Hainer announced Hainer crashed in the same car?

The golden era! Probably never see an assemblage of all-time great drivers at one time as this era. Alan Johnson, Danny Johnson, Bob McCreadie, Brett Hearn, Jack Johnson, Billy Pauch, Steve Payne, Joe Plazek, Kenny Tremont, Billy Decker, Charlie Rudolph, etc. etc etc. Kenny Schrader and Dave Blaney were my favorite guest drivers who competed against our hometown boys. I wish somebody had video of the night Schrader went off turn two at Weedsport into the cornfield and came back on track looking like a Halloween decoration. They stopped the race to clean the corn from the car and interview Kenny who was laughing along with the crowd. Kenny Schrader is one of the classiest Nascar drivers ever and he never forgot his short track roots. God bless him and all these guys!

The 80's was the best for dirt modified racing. Still love it today but so many memories from the 80's.

When I win the lottery, it’s my goal to bring it back to its former glory. I can barely watch the videos. A nostalgic reminder of childhood and times with Dad before he passed.

Rolling Wheels was the premier track on dirt. It was a huge mistake in closing it to make way for Donnelly's totally ridiculous pipe dream. Here is where super dirt week would have been ideal. THE best track for dirt as far as I'm concerned

I assume that that is THE Ray Evernham finishing 5th??? Alex Nagy, who won the late model race earlier in the day would go on to become the track manager of...the now defunct Jukasa Speedway ( Cayuga Speedway)...
@FloridaManRacer Жыл бұрын
It is THE Ray Evernham... He raced at Flemington most of the time in these cars before he moved south to crew chief in NASCAR... He was a really good driver in his own right.
