How cold is too cold to not be able to tint outside? It also seems colder there since you said your spary had some ice 😂. So what temperature would you say, " we gotta do this inside "

ive done it around ~35 degrees but obviously whenever you can get it inside that helps. Also the amount of time for it to cure increases.

The rear windows have just enough curve that you HAVE to shrink it. I broke a window and just had to redo mine. Just make sure you shrink with the piece oriented properly and it will go ok. These are good training windows since there's no seal to deal with.

definitely a safe issue i all ways have my tanks chained to a beam or the wall in my garage if your moving the welder around its very easy to nock one over .. i know people who use flux cor wire an say its great but if you have welded as long as i have you can see its not that good im sure some one has time to mess with it but i do not.. i have never bought any serious tools from harbor crap i do not like there stuf .. i figure why spend the money twice when you end up buying somthing that is better down the road ... it just dosent make sense ... i have a hobart 190 i had a miller 200 big welder i like both of them but the hobart dose every thing i need to do .. iv never welded with a spool gun i just bought one im stilll working getting that down its verry tricky the aluminum is very finikey to weld and i get black soot around the weld iv been welding most of my life im 66 but aluminum is tricky very interisting good luck . but chain that tank you ok

Factory is 3.2mm ID. I'd be worried 3.5mm will pop off again. I've looked into this a fair bit and those who know say it's worth spending out for the pipe from Mercedes (although some have had good results with 3mm silicone hose meant for chain saws). Beware though: on my '94 S124 OM606 the standard length that Mercedes supply (1m?) is too short to get the complete set out of (would likely be fine on an OM605 though). Here are the lengths that Mercedes specify: Between injectors: 165mm, From injector #1 to filter housing: 340mm total = 5*165+340=1,165mm

I just got one like it. I had a teeny bit of experience with a 30 year old flux core. This Hobart 190 came "set up" for flux core, ie, you have to swap two wires under the hood from positive to negative. The manual is very clear but who reads that first? Also, mine had no tip installed in the gun, a nice little handfull in the bag but none installed. Those two issues cause me DAYS of grief! But if I wasn't too stubborn to read the manual it wouldn't have been a problem. Love it now,

it works out well, just know that you need to get some e36 M trailing arms and axles for DSS to make you the proper custom axles. These will cost you about 1200 all said and done so thats something to consider before trashing your subframe. If you are just going to drift it welding up cheapo open e36 diff is a cheaper route but this is a good way to reliably hold the power on the street with an actual lsd set up

@@northborooil7779 Thanks sir. Looking at 1/8th mile drag set up. So just need to source a good 8.8 then get with DSS. Getting subframe all reinforced, having welds reinforced as well. Hey bro I recently bought a rep wastegate of the same brand, I believe I have a solution to your leaking top nipple, the banjo that the bolt runs through isn’t machines properly, so the sealing surface on both sides isn’t smooth, you could fix this by using like an 800/1000 grit sand paper on a very flat surface like a piece of glass and sand both sealing surfaces on the banjo in an 8 motion, could be wet sanded, this solved my issue, may be worth a try for your application.
