There's a lot to be concerned about in the world right now. 💛 I hope you keep creating in whatever way feels right.

Honestly, I think at this point the best thing to do is just to make art for yourself. Do it because you want to and enjoy doing it. If you want to post it, then post it. But letting yourself create without fear will probably do a lot to help. Make art because its fun! That’s why I dont really get the appeal of generative AI. I dont create because I give a rats ass about farting out some bullshit end product, I do it because I enjoy the process of creating. AI inherently does not understand the intrinsic merit behind the actual process of making something. Don’t let it take that joy away from you!

How do those walls do in the wind? I’ve been at a few outdoor markets with pretty bad wind and the one time I tried walls, they made my tent try to fly away, even though I always have at least 100lbs holding it down!
@cassiedeeartАй бұрын
Since they are mesh the wind passes through. I have only ever experienced a wind storm bad enough to take my art off the walls once but as far as tent blowing away that hasn't been an issue.

Thank you so much Cassie. This is excellent. I wanted to let you know that your link to the mesh tarp sidewalls goes to an incorrect size on Amazon. I would like you to get the commission so if you can fix your link to the 7 x 10 size I will place an order that you can get credit for.
@cassiedeeart2 ай бұрын
Thanks for the heads up! It should work regardless of the size you choose from the link but I'll definitely get that fixed so there is no confusion.

I want to start selling my art at the farmers markets and small vendor events. I want to get an idea on how much one can make when they're just starting and how much investment I should plan into the prints inventory and all the other supplies. Please help me with this information as well if you can and thank you for all the information and the links for supplies. Super helpful and super handy.

Awesome video! I’m actually getting ready to do an outdoor market soon. I wanted to ask, do you have any tips for painting setups for stormy/rainy weather? The event I’m going to will have bad weather that day and I’m trying to find a budget friendly way to protect my art
@cassiedeeart4 ай бұрын
The tent I bought came with solid walls, I use this same set up and put the solid walls behind the mesh tarps my art is hung on. Most vendor tents have those or add-ons you can buy. But if yours is not compatible with those you could also use a solid waterproof tarp attached the same way as the mesh one is shown here.

Great video and content. I did several shows where I didn’t put enough emphasis on my booth- instead, thinking my art would carry me. Several juried shows require a booth photo and I was definitely hurt by a subpar booth presentation. Love how you have a secondary table cloth over the fitted table cover!
