Veneer cut like this is of much better quality than peeling turned logs, the downsides are also obvious. It's much less efficient, and the pieces will be a lot smaller, but there will be no stress from the wood essentially being flattened from a roll.

Never seen a horizontal peeler before, always the spindle type. The thinness of each slice will make a much stronger plywood.

i think 0.6 mm not 0.06 mm maybe this is taihei machine

Hi Mohd Fazli, 0.6mm veneer is too easy. It really can make 0.06mm if the wood cooked well. but normally 0.07mm -2mm. This slicer is mainly for thin veneer. we also have face veneer peeler to make veneer from log. Any need, please feel free to let us know. Mobile +86 15066199637 WhatsApp & Viber.
