You are contradicting yourself now Terry, in your Angling Direct video, you say the right hand is used to punch the rod, punch pull👍

Funny, 🤔 I've actually just watched a video you did with A.D.T.V where you say exactly the opposite!!! that you do want your right arm slightly bent behind your head and IT IS a punch action and you pull through with your left arm into the middle of your body!!!! To be fair that video was only a few years ago so I guess we all can improve our technics, even the the great Terry. I just thought I would mention it so people don't make these mistakes!!!! 😱

Hi, was this in the out of bounds area to the right of swim 3? Do the owners allow stalking in that area? Cheers

Yes it was. Not sure if the owners are the same now, you'd have to check with them. It was OK at the time.

I always worry if I put too much in I'll snap my rods or crack off, I'm sure I could do 200 yards if that didn't bother me

Very informative video. I have always used my right hand to apply force, and hence always struggled with the casting distance. Now, I will use this technique to improve my casting distance. But there is a little bit of confusion. The fishing rod is said to be an example of a third-class lever to which effort or force is applied in the middle. So, if it is a class three lever, the force must come form the right hand. Please elaborate. REPLY

The mistake I had been making for so many years has been rightly pointed out here in this video. It is the pull not push that makes a long cast.

I'm a margin basher at heart love setting traps to fool a big un in the edge but guys come on you should never have tried to land a carp from that swim the tree was right there for it to run under poor poor angling guys a fishes safety comes before anything any fisherman knows that

Shocking!! Agree with most of these guys you should never attempt to fish in snags like that proper poor angling... Hope u get banned for life here or somewhere else for trying that.. Pristine fish at Rakers and well looked after place and you get idiots like your self putting poor fish through stuff like that. Yeah we sometimes snag off ourselves but only when fishing correctly and in correct swims.. Here's a thought take up a new hobby cos fishing ain't your thing northern pussy monkeys 💦💦💦✊🏻
