what is a good mountain bike for these type of trails in the video, 1500 or less.
@bike_with_mike5 күн бұрын
Any Trail bike would be fine but I recommend a full suspension as it gets really bumpy at times. If you go hard tail make sure your forks are min 140mm travel. I ride a Fluid FS A3. Polygon is a good bike and priced pretty low for what you get. T7 or T8 are priced below 2k

Hey Mike, I just live right around Gage Park area. I've never really explored those trails you are on in this video. Those are the ones just below the rail trial if I am correct. I quiet frequently ride up the rail trail part to some of the upper trail systems. Feel free to give me a shout for a ride if you ever like to
@bike_with_mike5 күн бұрын
Yes that correct they are below the rail trail. I get on from the lime ridge road entrance near Berni Arbour Stadium. Then drop in from the rail trail. It's a very difficult trail tbh. I was not really prepared for it but thats ok haha. I got on just close to the Kenilworth stairs. Id love to ride anytime!!

Just came across your channel, Mike. Glad you were able to check out GORBA. I was just there Thursday, they tend to add new features almost weekly, so, there may be something new there since your visit. GORBA is great preparation for The 'Cut, and they have also done a ton of work there as well this season. Always looking to connect with YTrs, for group rides. Had the privilege of riding with @BikingwithJP few times. Still hoping to meet up with @Toogy Howser, @Sluggo and some others. Maybe one of these days. I visited G.L just over a week ago. Straight up light-hearted fun trails where you can just let loose, enjoy, with minimal risk. I have no idea how they managed to make all those zippy, flowy trails when there's no climbs...but I'm not complaining. 😆 One thing that I wish was shared more often, is the option to start the day from Riverside Park. You get to enjoy some more easy going single track that takes you right to the Guelph Lake Trails, and works out as a nice little warm up. I didn't try everything, but I'd say Firefly was my favorite. Definitely will return and hopefully hop over to Arkell as well.
