The only commercial I remember actually seeing as a kid was the second one in the video and the commercial for Mutant Apocalypse for Super Nintendo. We had it so good as kids in the 90s!

Man, My parents attic has a box full of these toys. I mean full to bursting. My brother and I LOVED these toys. They were the coolest thing even down to the packaging paper it came in with all the art work on the front and the other toys you could get on the back. I use to keep all those too lol. Poor kids these days just don't have it as cool as we kids of the 90s did

One of the Highlights of the 90s was going to KayBee Toys in the Rainbow Mall to buy an XMen Action Figure. Even more Exciting was looking on the back & Anticipating the New Figures coming out. Omega Red and Tusk were a Big Deal.😄👍🏾

1st give the person that uploaded this a metal. 2nd to ALL the parents that wrote a government official to have this show taken off bcuz their kid was too soft to handle the greatness of this show, I hope your spouse left you for someone that didn’t mind their kid watching this awesome show.

I was the product technician for just about every one of these commercials/spots. I was in the role from very late 1982 until mid 1987. I was the Mattel guy who supplied the toys for the spot. I also prepped the camera ready "hero's". They were usually prototypes as the spots were always filmed well before the product went into production. I hand painted the detail work on the product and touched them up throughout the shoot. I was always right off camera to the left or right. For Landshark, my hand/arm is seen in the spot as we couldn't use child talent after 5:00 and it was after 10:00pm and the hand model had left the set (after collecting her $300 for the day). For Spydor, we didn't have enough cookie smoke and you couldn't see the laser lights without smoke so all of us who smoked had to get right outside of the shot and blow as much smoke as we could. I got sick. For the Skellator diver accessories ( I forget the name but it was swim fins and a propeller) it was on a sound stage in the San Fernando Valley (in the summer!). They built a 10K Gal tank since the whole thing was filmed in water. After lunch was called one of the PA's started adding water to the tank with a fire hose on the sound stage. The hose got away and started ripping around the set. About 3 of us went after it and finally got it. We were soaked but happy as it was so bloody hot. Such an adventure and so many fun times. 7:00am crew calls and getting off at midnight. I was in my early 20's. Made so many friends. I was also the product tech for Hot Wheels during that time so I did all those spots from 1982 to 1987.
