That GMC V12 Deserves to be installed on some kind of Boat!!!!! I've read/heard that it's just 2 V6 units combined; more or less! Makes sense..so virtually any part can be replaced with those made for the V6!! Would it be feasible to upgrade it with EFI & Electronic Ignition?? If no EFI, then maybe 2 Holley or Edelbrock 4bbl Carbs??

I have an engine just like this Vaughn model. Does not run right now was missing once in a while and I tried to fix. It ended up I cannot get it to run . I did not put it together and the man that did is dead I cannot find someone to fix and want to sell as I am getting to old to work on engines please contact me if interested.

@@ys11-s4f the first one is a 60hp.. it powered a barge... not propulsion but for electricity i was told.... the next one powered a tugboat on the Columbia River between Washington state and Oregon

You need to superheat that steam , it'll give the steam more energy and also save the turbine from corrosion

You don't want to run it too slow, the oil pressure will drop dangerously low. That is one of the smoothest running V-12 engines I have ever encountered too. I'm curious why it was discontinued.
