Dotson as a WR is a favorite target of Underwood at Belleview. This is a YUGE get for Michigan. Elijah is a Swiss Army knife. He can play on both sides of the ball. Higher character guy than Taylor in that he displayed greater loyalty.

The expectations for this kid are through the roof. I don't see this working for Michigan in the long haul if he comes to Michigan. I feel his heart is at LSU and I'm sure the expectations are high there but not on the level that Michigan fans, that are starved for a good QB are. But if he does choose Michigan I sure hope the coaching staff can embrace what he does well and surround him with good talent to shine. If he stumbles out of the gate I hate to say it but I believe it is going to be a shit show of people complaining about what we paid to get him to come to Michigan. I hope he chooses Michigan and balls out and brings 2-3 championships home to Michigan. That is a lot of pressure though.

I will say that Sam has done a really good job of trying to temper expectations by basically saying over and over that Michigan is in the mix and that NIL won't be the issue if he stays with LSU. With me, that boosts his credibility
