Anyone remember the OG opening cinematic with the greeks fighting and the minotaur running through people and the centaurs launching arrows? They removed some stuff and I will confirm after beating all of the campaigns again that all of the retold voices are terrible. especially gargansious "spelling sucks" and also SKULT. This is one of my favourite games of all time and the OST is AMAZING. I loved the picks here though I think it should have the "A Tear in the Veil", "Path of the Godwoken" (bansuri version) and "Broken Shackles" (Shadow Prince fight theme) tracks in my opinion. It's hard making a TOP 10 tracks when all the OST is soo good...

The one thing Im really negative on is the voice acting. It just sounds bad. Bad accents, weird emphasis on words, etc. The only good ones are Arkantos, Chiron and Amanra....Ajax is fine but still not good. What a shame in an otherwise good game:

I have the original cinematics DVD from 2001/2002 from the WC3 Collector's Edition. The part where Arthas impales his father, they have the choir play as if in shock at the moment when Arthas kills Terenas. This version and the version in the game itself doesn't have the choir blasting at the scene. I always wondered why that was because the choir gives it a more dramatic effect. From the bigger picture now that WotLK has passed, it would seem that Arthas spared his elderly father King Terenas II from what could have happened to him had he not killed him like he did. Arthas was noted to become the Lich King in order to restrain Ner'Zhul's power as Ner'Zhul would have unleashed the entire Undead Scourge on the world and wiped out all life in an instant had he had his way. This was mentioned by Uther Lightbringer during the ICC event when he revealed the bigger picture that the world didn't realize about Arthas. Arthas still was trying to protect his people. Even if it meant becoming the very thing that he fought against because he knew the Scourge was impossible to destroy and those he killed and so on...he saw it as a mercy killing...as being a better fate than what would have become them. So when Arthas was dying at the end of ICC saying "Father! Is it finally over?" this was him feeling relief that he didn't have to kill or destroy anyone anymore. Like the burden he had to bear was finally taken off his shoulders. I can only imagine what the Scourge would have done to King Terenas II had Arthas decided not to kill him during the invasion of Lordaeron. But the cruelty Arthas did show makes you question this aspect of him...if it really existed at all after he became a Death Knight such as when Arthas killed Sylvannas and tortured her soul into a Banshee or when he struck down and killed Uther. But when he spared Illidan and banished him from Northrend instead when he could have killed him...speaks volumes about him.

Haa! 30:14 What kind of design is this? He looks like something with bad makeup from a low cost 80's horror movie. Just to be clear it all has great detail and in that aspect is very impressive, it's just the designs for some of the characters is kinda crap. 🤷‍♂️

Came here to watch a cut-scene I accidentally skipped and noticed a few voices sound different. I just checked and Amanras voice has definitely changed to be more like the original.
