Thanks for reawakening memories of my 1981 Norwegian adventure. Took the train from Oslo and then the Flåm train down. On the train, sitting behind us, was a man named Flåm from Minnesota who claimed to be a direct descendant of the town's founder. Breath-taking views throughout, a bus from Gudvangen to Voss had a spectacular stop at the Stahlheim Hotel where Kaiser Wilhelm was said to spend some of his summers before WWI.

Hey, i just found your second channel! I also have a second channel (now mostly defunct) where I once highlighted some of my walks/outdoor activities. A few years ago I walked across the state of Florida and the plan was to cross the entire USA, but for a few reasons, that didn't work out. I'm hoping to revive it sometime next year.

Hi Eric! Nice to see you here. This channel is in its infancy, but I'm having fun making the videos. I'd love to watch your hiking content. Where can I find it?
@gronskeibooksАй бұрын
@mungoslade But it's only got a few walking videos from Florida and getting ready to go. The plan had been to walk across America, but that ultimately didn't work out. There are a few other just personal vids there. I dropped that second channel when started my new position library, just too busy. But i'm hoping to revive it!

If you ever make it to the Uk, come and visit RSPB Lakenheath (for Golden Orioles) and NT Wicken, Cambridgeshire (fenland) both reminiscent of this beautiful Dutch countryside. Thank you for the lovely walk!

I've been to the UK many times. Strangely I never visited that part of your beautiful country. Thanks for the tip.

Bedankt voor de video DGB! Mooie beelden met uitgebreide info, in zeer goed Engels overgebracht. Ik krijg zin om die kustroute(s) ook af te leggen, maar dan waarschijnlijk wel per fiets.
@DGBHikes2 ай бұрын
You're welcome! De kustroute is zonder meer de moeite waard. Erg mooi en divers.

Nice walking with you visually that is. Didn't know there were dragon teeth in the Netherlands

Thanks. Dragon teeth, is that what they're called. Learned something new!

Gday mate, thanks for making this. I enjoyed seeing a bit of Dutch culture and nature. Nice to see regenerating woodlands. Were those old tank barriers? Danke from NZ

Thanks. I'm not quite sure. They're no doubt WO-II-related, whatever they're called.
