Mine sat unused for many years and I pulled it out recently but noticed that it has an annoying crackle like digital input clipping whenever the preamp models are enabled. I was thinking I was missing something important and have been trying to figure out if I was using it incorrectly, but I hear something similar on these examples, so now I am wondering if it’s just the nature of the device and maybe I just don’t care for it these days.

I have a question about your product. With a normal effects board or digital multi-effects unit, I think you can use three different drive tones, such as "overdrive," "distortion," and "both." But even with equipment like this one, where you make settings by turning knobs, is it possible to use a different drive tone for each patch?

I had one of these as a teenager in the early 2000s & loved it. I had a Peavey Classic VT & got some great sounds. The night before my band was going to the studio to record our demo, the power blinked & the unit factory reset. All my presets were wiped. I set them back up as best I could & but couldn’t get all of them exact. I switched to individual pedals after that.

Talvez levar a tua guita pra um luthier e eliminar esse chiado? Geralmente com isolamento da parte elétrica usando alumínio. Não o sendo, talvez verificar a impedância da fonte ou mesmo a pureza da rede elétrica de seu studio? Gratidão pelo tutorial 🙏🏻

I owned gt3 15-20 years ago and couldn't set good drive sound and good wah. Neither into line, nor in full tube amp. It was very flat, dull, no dynamic, doesn't match for the higain play. And this video I hear the same flat dull sound and external wah :(. Even toy-rp55 sound better. For metal sound now I use a cheap tube 12ax7 preamp with mt2 or a tube booster. I spent many months before understood that gt3 is a bad processor :(

Because you're set it wrong.. it has an analog drive .. Tune your ears and learn how to set a good tone..

@@MrJackrockerman "tune your ears" :). Now I hear the same bad dull tone at this video. I use quattro 12ax7 preamp and it gives very versatile sound into cabinet. Boss couldn't do that. Only flat jc120 was rather good.

a lot of hum. Sounds like a rat pedal. I wonder if they still make Arion SDI-1 pedals. Much better distortion for a great price. I bought mine in 1985 and still sounds great.

Nope the ME-80 is way better. I have the GT8 and ME-80 and the ME 80 dont have this buzzing . He didnt put on the noise supressor aka NOS to stop that God awful humming. I hate that
