the vegetable is called okra not gumbo:)

Thank you for watching and teaching me☺It's actually called okra in Japan, but I did some research and found that there are some places overseas where it's called gumbo. From now on, I'll call it okra.🤣👍🏻

Gumbo is actually a Cajun dish. The vegetable you have there is okra, which is used in gumbo as a thickener. I love these cooking videos. You are giving me some great ideas, even if I can't always get the same ingredients. 🤩

Hello , it is interesting'to look at your table with lots of bowl with food . Here we never use bowl except maybe for coffee or tea for breakfast . On the table we use plates , large ones for the main dish in which we put fish and vegetables and rice , then a smaller one for salad, if at a posh restaurant you'll have a smaller one for bread too . And of course we are useless with chopsticks 😅, we need a fork and a knife . 😊

Hi , thank you for watching✨In Japan, of course, some families serve food on a large platter, just like in your country. However, there is also a Japanese culture of serving food in small bowls like this.😊But, it takes time to serve the food in small bowls, so I sometimes serve it on a large plate.🤣

Hello , I don’t know what fishcakes are . There’s fish it it of course but what else ? And I’m going to try cooking cabbage in a pan to experiment but no pork for me with it , I’m allergic. You make so many dishes for one meal ! That’s hard work . Good evening ( it is 4:40 pm here ) 😊

Hello . It is quite fascinating how different our meals are . We almost never have soup except in winter and then it can very well be the main dish for dinner with a piece of bread , then yogurt or a fruit . Rice ...I guess I eat some maybe 3 times a month . Your meal was nice . Thanks for the video 😊

Hello,Thank you for watching my youtube.I went on a trip to France last year. French cuisine was different from Japan's, but it was so good. Especially a bread. Soup becomes the main dish. interesting. Miso soup is a traditional Japanese soup that is enjoyed not only in winter but also in summer. (Although it's hot) It's interesting for me to learn about the cuisine of different countries. thank you for teaching me.
