Was this the Summer Sanatarium tour 2002??.. If so the best lineup I’ve ever seen Mudvayne, Deftones, Linkin Park , Limp Bizkit and Metallica .. All opener bands right in their prime as well

They were/are nu metal, but these guys were one of the very few who were actually deep and complex. Most everyone else was top 40, studio radio friendly stuff that just kept repeating the same 3 sentences with cheap generic beats. Mudvayne was on a whole another level!

This band was first heavy metal band I ever got into. By heavy metal, I just mean, Heavy, Metal, not the genre of Heavy Metal that people have listed. Still till this day I absolutely love this band.
