His original voice was not high or off-putting in any way, it was quite normal and fine. But post-surgical voice is very impressive, rich and bassy! I see why you're so happy with it. Congratulations!

It's a fake video. His voice is still same. After surgery patient is not allowed to produce sound for at least 2 weeks. No sound from his throat at all.
