Hello, I really enjoy your videos. Your positive attitude and the way you explain things is very inspiring! I live in Durham. I have been a stay at home dad for the last 9 years and ready get back in the Job world. I am very interested in being my own boss and getting licensed as a pest control applicator. Nervous and excited at the same time. Just need to put that foot forward and pull the trigger on taking the core exam. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Chris

Just learned of your channel a couple weeks ago. Man you got some great teaching videos! I’ve been binge watching a lot of your older ones. I’ve been in the lawn industry for many years, but just recently sold my business of over 30 years. Basically semi retired, but started a weed control & fertilization gig, and really enjoying it. Just part time. Wish I had made this transition years ago! Much easier to treat the lawns instead of mowing them! Thanks for your teaching information!

The test is really hard and the questions are obscure. You don’t get told what questions you got wrong and they try to trick you. What a bunch of shit

@@mikegrowgreens9125 I wish there was more math on the exam. Too many applicators applying pesticides with not knowing the math behind it.

@@turfteacher thats because the math is easy and its harder to trick you with questions.

Im so disappointed for putting in a row of inkberry hollies as a hedge. They have that bald naked bottom. Not the attractive hedge i was excited for. I was out to get boxwoods and the owner told me to buy these because boxwoods grow too slow without mentioning the bald-bottom thing. Well at least i didnt have to worry about boxwood blight. Then i got soft touch without knowing they are super weak and deer destroy them. The ones i seen in this video that meets everything i want in a hedge dont grow in my zone 6, but i swear i saw a burford (or something similar) in front of the bank down the street just killin it in winter with its broad dark glossy-green prickly leaves.
