Males. The male bats are at Stone Hold during the summer and the females migrate with their children during the winter to meet them.

Too bad it only had 13 episodes, short lived in deed, it would of been nice to see Shade and Marina train to fight bad guys, maybe an enemy bat 🦇colony, another thing we could of seen was Shade and Marina get married and have their son Griffin

I love how Brutus is such a hyprocrite that he'll respond to a minor crime committed by a child by committing an actual war crime out of anger over not getting his way after going on about emotions having no place in the execution of the law.

I loooove this show! I have the original show on DVD and i rmember watching it all the time! This show made me such a fan of the books and I read all of them at least 6 times (except for Darkwing, i only read that twice LOL!). So happy these are up here so I can watch them over and over from time to time! Kenneth Oppel (spelling?) is so awesome!

I love the show! It made me a bat fan! I bow to the feet of bats (I'm also a goose lover and bird lover in general, owls are cool too!) I saw the Silverwing series in early 2000s and now buying the books to read!

Such a shame they never continued this show! It holds a special place in my heart because it was the last show I saw on Jetix before it disappeared. Love it!

Only 13 episodes, it would of been awesome to see Shade and Marina train to fight off villains, in later seasons, as well as the birth of their son Griffin, Shade and Marina did fall in love in the books, so there is no reason to believe they would not fall for each other in the TV series as well

You know that feeling where discover a series as kid and you enjoy it, that's me except I'm an adult. It's like a hidden gem waiting to be discovered and slowly form into nostalgia. Like being 13 again nerding over something that isn't all that mainstream, but because it isn't that well known it feels even more special. Am I making any sense?
