I want to throw some brass on inserts and some megalithics get the balance right do the whole hobby wing and throw my reefs and sky fly on it and trail it

Ask away that's how we learn in the hobby. No the 4 door is long wheelbase, the blue truck is standard wheelbase the fender wheels wouldn't match not interchangeable

@trailnscaleRC Thank you! And I'm pretty sure the 4 door is molded in those colors not painted. Either way just some light sanding with say 600 grit sand paper to scuff it up, primer then paint. But you shouldn't have to worry about sanding I'm pretty sure they are molded in that color plastic. I have a paint video on my channel from when I painted that WPL C74, would be the same process for you. Hope that helps ya out.

I would start soft and tune from that point. The DL shocks take a bit of tuning to get correct

@jackawaki I'm not 100% sure it might hold the power of the 2300 possibly 🤔. I've given this one hell 3 ways from Sunday now lol! I'll have an update on what I've encountered with it later this week. I've gotten most the issues worked out budget wise.

@@TyJoe_N_MattyMoe Thanks man! It's actually got some major improvements over the Tamiya really, the transmission is way better quality than the plastic gears Tamiya is using in the new release version ans the older one had bushings that wore out eventually

So far about 7 5500 MAh packs in of pretty hard trail abuse and its been absolutely great! Minus small very small issues. Been piling in trail time with it before doing my second bench video. @pennyhelga no its not bad at all. I'll have tons of coverage on it coming. I mean its not a trxr its a scale style trail rig that bang pretty hard bashing wise which surprised me. I mean it's based of technology from 1985 but it'll definitely crawl we went out today for 2 hours today, I ran 2 5500mah 3s packs through for a total of now 5 of those packs after purchasing it. Its a Hella fun truck if your into scale stuff

For sure comes kit and rtr, the kit comes primarily assembled so I got the rtr

@@RcDungeon ..been collecting since early 80's.. 20 years ago I Had to sell off most of my originals, hurt really bad lol. Since, I have acquired several Re-Re's, and such. I've never run my OG Bruiser! That's what the 407 is for. haha.. You like the High Lifts? They are a great build, and fun to run, but not super capable. I have beat on my F350 and it has never let me down.

Thanks, it's definitely not getting weathered. I'm not a huge weathering guy to be honest. I am thinking about maybe dropping this one down just a smidgen and keeping around a 4.5-4.75 tire. It will be a scale build just more of a big lifted toyota truck build. These old parts are almost impossible to come by. I want to keep it as a blast around trail rig but still able to put work in crawling. Lots of ideas kicking around in my A D D brain 😆 🤣

@RcDungeon my best bud in high school, had a lifted Sr5 something or another. Red with Chrome 👌 Rocking 33s on a T in the 80s! Oops, or whenever I went to high school, lol 😆
