@@drumandjesus8363 Sure! Just keep in mind that I don't have any control over whether the copyright holder of the original composition decides to send a copyright claim or strike. Good performance, but man! You really needed to work on muting the strings. That alone made it feel a little off. Good work, regardless!
@TremendouzАй бұрын
@@StonerSquirrel Thanks! It's been a while but I opted to not use palm mutes for the main riff because the mutes they recorded were too tight for the riff which originally utilizes a sort of half-muted notes.
@StonerSquirrelАй бұрын
@@Tremendouz Have you tried decreasing the velocity in the DAW with the palm mute? I don't own H7S but I plan to soon enough.
@TremendouzАй бұрын
@@StonerSquirrel Yes. I think they only recorded one palm mute layer, although they added a slider to adjust the tightness, but that still doesn't enable you to do those half mutes with long decay
@StonerSquirrelАй бұрын
@@Tremendouz I see, that's a shame, really. Anyway, thanks for the input. Appreciated.
@TremendouzАй бұрын
@@StonerSquirrel it can still do some nice mutes, don't get me wrong, but this riff needs those half mutes and tbh those don't sound great even with the guitars that have them. It's hard to make this riff sound right with VST guitars
