❤When anyone else but Danko does this song it leaves me limp in my heart, this was made to be sung by him...anyone else should know that and keep their inadequate vocal cords away...Just sayin the TRUTH !!! Even though this is not his best outing of the song, it's still great..

Richard's voice here is certainly not what is was in the early years of The Band, but definitely a step up from his performance in The Last Waltz.

Beautiful! I was there that night and I remember it well, particularly that moment when Richard starts up early on the piano and Garth raises his hand to tell him "Not yet!"

I remember this song from the 50s on midnight stations from Shreveport. Dont recall who sang it, but it was a favorite. Levon does it as those old southern blues singers!

Surprised there are only two comments on this. Rick was the soul of The Band, and it's sure he suffered for what he did. I loved that man, and this group with the Cates lives up to the legacy laid down by the original ensemble. Who needs Robbie?
