If you’re not feeing the energy boost I recommend eating more fat. Add lots of butter, especially with chicken. We even made brown butter bites which have a nice texture. I first noticed feeling more energy as kind of a restlessness where I just don’t want to sit down as much and kept looking for things to do, waking up easier/earlier, more endurance going up and down stairs/being active during the day. It was more subtle that I thought it would be.

I have done carnivore for 6 months. My advice at this point is to make sure you are eating enough and including fats as well. It sounds crazy to say eat more but I had to get out of the eat less to lose weight mentality because that is what your body needs rather than being in starvation mode. My journey has not been perfect but I have lost about 22 pounds and I feel so much better. I have little to no inflammation and that frankly is the thing I am most happy about. Praying for you and your wife to find your benefits and to feel better 🙏

Thanks for the comment. Learning to eat more has been an adjustment, but I have noticed I snack less when I do eat fuller meals. Good luck with your journey!

Looking forward to seeing your journey. Im 3 weeks in and a type 2 diabetic. Switched from keto to straight carnivore, meat, salt, water, & coffee, only. stay away from the scales your weight will fluctuate from 6 months to a yr from what I've seen from Dr Chaffee.

Make the switch to a higher grade coffee.. Organic black Coffee..! U'll maybe have to take electrolytes. I use LEMT.. (unflavored) only. Vitamin D, and iodine drops.. Dr. Berry is a great reference as well..

Eat enough during meals where you won't want to snack.. That breakfast is too small. Cut out the cheese for a while.
