I am old. I have fished jigs from almost all the major companies. The Untamed Tackle ACE jig is the best all around jig I have ever fished with. I recently purchased several of the mini swim jigs. I have not fished with them yet but, I can tell You they are made with the same quality of the ACE jig. Untamed Tackle seems to be earning a great reputation for quality and performance.

Absolutely! I've been working with Untamed since the business began 6 years ago. I was very close with the owner and have been able to be a part of the prototyping and see the r&d come to life for each jig. I even got to name one of them! Every jig is designed to improve on aspects other jigs have lacked (swimjigs rolling, best plastic keeper out there, and head designs specialized for their purpose are a few examples) and the quality components are a main focus.

Nice "goldfish" It looks like it put up quite a fight. I've watched a young lady catch one, mate on the boat was ready to land it when the tarpon decided otherwise and she was still fighting it half an hour later when we lost sight of the boat.

@@BlairEricksonFishingcatching my first charter tarpon on live crab is the second best feeling of my life. Number one was pulling up to a random lot in south beach on my own to shark fish initially, and after seeing an 80 lb tarpon come up to me and swirl my cut bait on wire, tossed an 8” mullet swimbait at him and hooked up on third or fourth cast. Sickest day of my life. Full video is on my profile 🤙🏼 this video is giving me tarpon fever again DAMN

2 hooks on a bait ya. It's tricky with bass since they both have to eat the lure at the same time from different sides of the bait! It rarely happens

Funny comment about the airbnb being on a hill. Cherokee is a reservoir, it was a mountain valley with the Holston river in the bottom of it so yeah all the terrain around will be hills. Great place for smallmouth when the water is low.

Agreed. It's stays steep around most of that lake. That airbnb is still one of the steepest I've stayed at in 3 years of traveling different parts of the south!
