Now imagine a designer with Lidar for this dude. It would be off the charts. Love Golf+ it kinda stopped me playing 2K.

Don't do full swings like in real golf, as the headset can't track the controller properly when they are above the head, or even worse in this case, behind. Do shorter back swings, and than very fast forward swing. You will have to adjust the club angle in that case, it should be more opened.

Great video Andre, I have had a Quest 3 for a year and only just bought the game . Really surprised how good it is. It is also a fantastic experience playing online with friends. I just bought the course yearly expansion and am looking forward to playing my mate tomorrow on the Old Course. P S. Awesome 92 foot putt, that will take some beating as the putting is really challenging.

Can you set the default wind speed and direction in 2k23 designer?

I have my clubs maxed out in the current game. To throw that away and start over will take a major upgrade. The only downside of current game is Tiger Woods is overpowered in career mode.

The biggest change I want to see is to move away from the fittings and the different kinds of balls. Have the equipment themselves have the stats attached to them so you pair your equipment with your player. It would effectively work the same but it's your equipment and not some random fitting.

I frequently have the "I miss that game" feeling with 2K. It was one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences ever for me, especially the course creation. I only had time/patience for one course, but I poured my heart into it, and still recall staying up late to finish one more detail, one more green sculpt lol. Canuck, I partly have you to thank! :D (Southern Ohio C.C, check it out ;)). I'm really hoping this iteration combines the best aspects of this franchise and I can finally get back into it!

Guess we will see some new Canuck course design tutorials in Q42025 as well

Great news, i am in awe of the designers in this game, they make it what it is.. I am easily pleased and love the game in its current format but would love to see cross platform societies, ranked to be on master and not pro and fix the drop system.. That's all..

I think a change in game engine is well overdue. It will be a shame to lose course backwards compatability but hopefully faster and more efficient tools, and some type of Lidar integration would be enough for designers to embrace the new title.

Thanks for the video sharing the exciting news! I am interested to see any potential designer changes/updates. Made 4 courses in 2k21 but still haven't designed anything in 2k23. I like what they've added but it still could be made more efficient and intuitive in general but specifically for console. The journey of the design is fun, but it's also tough to commit like 50 hours to a course that ultimately isn't very good and your buddies only play like twice lol.

Q4 is October, November, December. The statement they made was the "Q2 earnings call". This is a conference held to discuss the upcoming Q2 outlook/forecast. Its not actually Q2 so it looks like a year away.

Whenever I put down a spline, then use the smooth spline option, the curves still don’t come out very smooth. They are just abrupt.

Wow! Just finished playing Old Bandit for the first time. Outstanding design and incredible work on planting here. The course layout is so creative and just awesome! Really Really highly recommend everyone playing this!
