For what it's worth, I have them in a small monitor build and they sound unbelievable. In a stereo setup they come across as holographic like you can "see" the music, they can go from whisper quiet to roaring loud with its dynamics, and you could pair them with a wide array of woofers/midranges. They excel in their horizontal dispersion, but the vertical dispersion is limited. Better for critical listening or home theater than some other applications.

As is mentioned ...they are really great!!!!! Much better than Mundorf or etc. Just go for them!!!

They are cheap, but fortunately, great reaponse, sound. If you like dry bass, fast, you will be happy with them. Their tonality is veeery natural, real. Any question: palo.bartus-at-gmail.com

Hi...thanks... I hope, even that bad quality recording can give you some impresion about it. Just you have to add cca 200% more, as better sound quality... Best they play with tube amp /SET or etc/, and in bigger room, with biger space around them... After that it is like life session...in any ways... 😇

Hi Andreas. Thanks... Which plans? I used plans from net, they call that speakers Cobra II. I can say, they are almost same, as plans from Fostex 208, just without blind slot which is on them, directly behind Fostex driver. Btw, that blind slot is strange - hi make echo in the bass. It add amount of bass, but it´s just double bass. Like this, without that slot, is less bass /little bit/, but is more accurate and clean.

Да, точно. Полнодиапазонный динамик Fostex находится в открытом дефлекторном корпусе, а в сабвуфере RIPOL установлены басовые драйверы 2x2 SB Acoustics. Извините за очень плохую запись с телефона, на самом деле они играют намного лучше.... Спасибо за ваше мнение...

Hi Shazad. Thanks for your words. Is true, that they missed little bit transparency, but they still play more details, than any others closed speakers in range 1-2000usd. Amp and DAC can change it. Tube amp sounded is warm and less detailed, solid state is more faster and transparent. My system is: Shanling A2.1, Astin Trew At3500, JF Digital HDM-03. Amp have tube sound. Room - very important is dumping and positioning, good shape of room. Keep care bro... ;)

Thanks Dinesh. Subjective impressions - they play big sound as big cabinet speakers. Bass is fast and realy deep, from cca 30-32Hz. Rest in in balance, soundstage is deep and wide. Even no big as my Li Audio project. Ceramic tweeter is surprisly clean and have nice tonality - no harsh or sanded. Just need stronger amp, sensitivity is "only" 88-89db. Weak point? Hmmm....it's about personal taste, amp, music style or comparation with others speakers. These is perfect for rock, dynamic and powerful music. For soft jazz or soft ambient music need beter transparency and sensitivity. They play better than many brand speakers ower 1500€. New owner of them is very happy and satisfated. Me to, from his feelings. PS: all recordings is very poor, sorry for that. In reality they all play much, much better... Thanks for your focus... ;)
