Interesting video again. How are caravan + motorhome prices at the present? New & second hand....

Caravan prices have definitely slowed down and are coming down. We did a video a few months ago, I will post the link. Motorhome prices have still been going up until recently and have started to level off due to a bit more availability on the new side, but still a bit of a shortage. Both caravan and motorhomes have been selling very very strongly during October and still going in November, which is unusual.

Second hand car sales are the worst since 2011, with prices falling by 4.5% in a month. Are RV's doing the same ?

Caravans did start to fall, Motorhomes still strong. But as above sales have taken off like a rocket again. So a very strange market, some is down to the recent nec show, but it's still busier than usual.

Quick question when you buy a dealer special 2024 model are these just 2023 models with a few bits added and if you bought one in October would you expect it already to be manufactured 3 months earlier? Hope you can help answer this and that it makes sense. Cheers

If your buying a 2024 it should be a 2024 model and the Cris 10th digit should confirm this = (R). The 2024 models start manufacture in 2023 so possibly already built. Just check the Cris Number 10th digit this will confirm if its 2023 =P or 2024=R.

Bought a new one at the nec to collect in March was told I would be given a build slot but got sent a vin showing an r code but built in August 23 and felt a little misled. Am I being unreasonable to think that van will have sat around for over 9 months? If you say yes I’ll take no offence and chill out. I’m new to all this and learning lots from your videos keep it up 👍

@@gavincollier7535 if Delivery is March it won't come off the production line till just before then normally. It may get a build slot in August but won't get manufactured till later. The Cris Registration will also be when it gets registered to you so that date will also be around collection date. Shouldn't be anything to worry about. 👍
