@@ryanbennett4956 Shell Key has a kayak launch right off of Pinellas Bayway. It’s on the right just before the toll/bridge into Fort DeSoto. There’s usually tons of people there so you can’t miss it.

We mostly used live shrimp for bait, but you can also use fresh cut baitfish or ballyhoo. I’d steer clear from frozen shrimp or frozen squid if you can help it.

@@nicknadeau5538 Big thanks! Fort DeSoto is normally my go to but they’ve been closed since Milton. Shell Key area launch is just before you get into DeSoto. There’s several holes in the mangroves that you can put in at.

@@nicknadeau5538 I’m using the Railblaza trolling motor mount, has held up well but has always had a sketchy wobble to it. My buddies both use the Brocraft mount and have been happy with that one, super solid mount.
