Well there is a world wide BILLION dollar industry that likes to express themselves and thinks you are wrong. However like you there are many that are content getting fed only what a manufacturer wants to give you. And for you and those people that is awesome.... I say at least you are enjoying moderately performing vehicles that are built for the masses and targeted to the lowest common denominator. Technically you could easily take your statement to the next level and say "When you buy a performance car the only people winning are the manufacture" because it certainly isn't an appreciating asset. It’s inefficient. Turbos should be closer to the engine bay and headers. Intercoolers allow for most boost. Rear mounted has neither. Also rear mounted is exposed to the elements, which leads to corrosion.

@@TheWalletSource the engine is in the back.. the turbos are literally a foot from the intercooler. It’s about as efficient as it gets my friend

this car can manage due to its torque, however it’s still less efficient. The laws of thermodynamics do not change. I’m not sure what kind of cam he’s adding but if it’s top end, then it may not help as much out the hole. The ZR1 has turbos in the engine bay for a reason. You should only spot turbos out the back as a last resort. If you’re a grudge racer you will understand that every edge matters. I like seeing variety though it’s still a sweet build

If you want to go down a straight line fast with a lot of power relatively easily you can't beat a turbo 400. In Australia lots of high horse power 7 and 8 second GT-R's run turbo 400's

@@SimplySteel everyone knows this, but it's not cool... and unless you're making in 3,000hp + , I don't see the reason from converting a manual car to an automatic...plus, you'll always be more likely to be faster than the next exact car, there are stick shift only classes running fast, mid 6's to be exact.... immediately swapping to an automatic is just kinda cheap and lazy IMO

They figured using the same engine as the current Skyline was enough, personally, they should've built a new RB for it instead and got away from the terrible V6 platform all together.
