One thing. When you are cutting the insolation with the razor nlade do not score the wire. It messes with the electrons.

Perfect, he used the exact same crimper that I have so I understood (both sight & verbal directions) the crimping process correctly. THX!

for my it did not work I figured out it might have somthing to do with wire quality ore the distance of those wire mathers Im not shure if sound play's a role in a 4 cilinder engine aperantly the insulation must tuch ground end's as well ore it will not work apearantly the insulation resistance has a big role play in some engine's some wire's actualy produce parasitic spark they act like capacitor's if they are to close together I dont know for shure but ich wire has a resistance value depending on their lenght it might fumel with the ignition timing in my experimenting I chose simpel plazma ignition didnt run it much just see what it can do I put a high voltage ceramic capacitor betvean positive spark plug electrode to spark plug ground electrode you need more poits ground spark plug high quality non resistance wire and non resistance ignition coil and there you go I slightly retarded ignition timing on my opel monza well there is hagher voltage present in the baterry easy'r engin starting and even the starter motor seam to by faster so perhap's peopel shuld try that out I used small round ceramic capacitor with piko fahrate range if you want more put more capacitors in serie's preaty cool staff again dont know what it done to economy didnt test it much but smother engine it was wurth it and it work on ither side of the ignition coil as well even if you reverse the conector to ignition coil

Thanks a lot man your video really helped me the black and white photo instructions that come with the kit don't do it any justice. More videos on KZbin should be like yours no BS or straight that appoint decent commentary. Again thanks

Just did the same thing with a pair of NAPA pliers that said ignition on them. Crimp looked horrible. It will work but looking at the profile the ignition crimp is not for spark plug terminal fittings. Thank you for posting the video.

Very nice. Wish more videos were like this. Now... Where does the dielectric grease go? I'm assuming it goes between the boot and the distributor.

So, i have been looking at different videos.. and i have had about half strip that inner core wire as well and the other half have not. does it not matter if you strip that inner core? Or is the material of the core a factor in that?
@robmiller7247
@robmiller7247 5 жыл бұрын
you have to strip it so the inner core makes contact with the terminal
