I’ve been pretty fortunate so far. I occasionally have pain and when the orthodontist applies pressure I’ve felt some pain but it’s been mostly fine. I’ll post an update when I get them tightened. I’ve heard that’s the worst pain people experience with braces but everyone is different ❤️

I use this product, but I use it when I get out of the shower after wetting my hair. I apply the gel on my wet hair in small sections and finger comb each section through (don't use a comb, use your fingers). After you finish, shake your hair to fluff up the curls and let it air dry. BTW, My hair type is very similar to yours.

Have you been checked for orthostatic hypertension or hypotension tension? It’s when you pass out from changing positions too quickly, it’s a circulation issue, you can have them do a tilt table test to check.
@organizedchaos7504
@organizedchaos7504 11 ай бұрын
Oops just finished the video, you definitely have orthostatic hypotension. I do too. The sodium doesn’t help , I was pretty angry when they told me to eat more salt, trust me I eat more than I should. Salt does nothing for me. exercise, strict diet changes, compression stockings did help me though, learning how to breathe into my stomach and not chest helped a little too, I try to regulate my blood pressure with my breathing. I have yet to find a fix. Goodluck on your journey!

This is sometimes caused by a malfunctioning, or low tone, Vagus Nerve. The vagus nerve runs from your brain, down through your neck, and then one side of it goes to the right and goes around the heart, the lungs, and the stomach and controls those organs. The other side of it goes down the spinal column as the nerves branch out through the spinal column to control the other organs. What you may be experiencing is POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome). The Vagus Nerve controls the heart rate and sometimes it malfunctions, making your heart flip out when standing up quickly. The cause may be your Vagus nerve not kicking in fast enough. A Low Tone Vagus Nerve does not always work right. One thing you can do to help NOW (as you wait for Drs who will probably say they don't know) is learn the breathing exercises that improves the Vagus nerve function so kicks in and slows your heart down. There are some really good videos on You Tube one how to normalize a Vagus nerve. Another thing, because the Vagus nerve runs down from the brain and through your neck, there is always the possibility that you have a malrotation of the upper vertebra in your neck. The Atlas, C1 and C2, sometimes C3. It would be good to find an UPPER cervical Chiropractor to have those tippy-top vertebra checked to see if they are in alignment. Not a regular Chiropractor, it has to be an UPPER chiropractor (the top vertebra of your neck is all they work on). The Vagus nerve breathing exercises are really good at increasing the tone of the Vagus nerve. A high tone nerve kicks quickly in to slow your nervous system down. Conversely, the Vagus nerve also saves you in an emergency to move quickly out of danger. There are 2 things you can do to see if it helps. Quite honestly, I ran through all the mainstream medical Drs and not one helped me. I had to get out of the "medical world" and get to an upper cervical chiropractor to have my neck examined, adjusted, and then I learned all the breathing exercises to tone up my Vagus nerve. The Vagus nerve is the autonomic nervous system "Captain". The Autonomic nervous system keeps you calm, no fast heart beat or pounding heart. It is supposed to kick in when you are startled, or stressed, or nervous, or stand up quickly, etc and calm everything down with the Parasympathetic part of the autonomic nervous system. Parasympathetic System = rest and digest. Sympathetic System jolts the Vagus nerve to jolt you Fight or Flight (saving yourself as if you are being chased by a lion in a forest). Then once the fear has passed, the Vagus nerve should shift you back over to the Parasympathetic System which brings everything back to normal. Parasympathetic = rest and digest. Sympathetic System = Run, Save yourself, you are being chased by someone (fear driven). Those two systems make up the Autonomic Nervous system. It controls all the bodily functions we do not think about. Digestion, heart beating, lungs breathing, intestines working. If the Vagus nerve is not working right then you get symptoms like POTS. Other things could be causing it for you, but they already checked your heart. This is just some information for you. It took me a long time to figure out I could increase the tone of my Vagus nerve just through mindfulness and doing the many, many Vagus breathing videos I found on You Tube. Of course, you should still see your Fr. Hopefully have better luck than I had. Our medical system is so broken imo

My daughter is bedridden a lot with this. I also have it. I was diagnosed in 1998. Then my daughter was diagnosed in 2015 and she had to quit school. Mine is better than it was at first. Hers is worse. It's Soo hard living with this. We can't go in grocery stores or shopping without a wheelchair so we get everything delivered from Walmart. It's only $13/month and they'll deliver every day as long as you spend $35. It's been the best thing for us. I'm glad you shared this. Most people don't know anything about it. It often goes with other things like fibromyalgia (myalgic encephalomyelitis) which I also have. If you find a good Dr to treat you, stay with them forever. It's so hard to find a DR who even believes in it. My daughter had a seizure a few days ago, and the whole ER staff didn't even acknowledge it when I said she has dysautonomia. They never do. So thank you for your PSA because we need more people speaking up about it. Also thanks for offering some helpful tips. Her cardiologist diagnosed her, and all he said was eat more salt. Now she gets kidney stones, which said eat less salt. Ugh. Life. 🤗👍

Your hair looks so soft and full!! To get the best results I always apply the gel to soaking wet hair, then I pul out little sections and rake thru it with my fingers or a 3 row comb to define my 4b hair. I have to do small sections otherwise aint no defining lol. The owner of the brand is a stylist and she posts really helpful videos on the brands instagram and youtube on how to use her products on 4c hair!
