Why wasn't the original starter put back on the machine, but this aftermarket part instead?
@Classic.Rescue11 күн бұрын
The original had a few spokes broken, and the aftermarket model works at the moment. 😊(I thought it looked better than one with broken spokes.) As soon as I get my hands on a good original, I'll exchange it back.😁

Hi. Which kind of painting (adhesion agent for aluminum plus colour) you used for it?
@Classic.RescueАй бұрын
Hey! 😊 An Epoxy-Primer was recommended to me for the Aluminum. The paint only consists of a base coat and a two-component Clear Coat. For convenience, everything was canned.😁

Hi I'm looking to buy one as a project. I have my eyes on one of that has been standing still for 2years. It has the keys and still looks quite good. Is that a first reliable project for someone who has little to no knowledge of mechanics but sees it as a project to learn
@Classic.RescueАй бұрын
Hey! 😊 It's fun too and fairly easy to work on it, in my opinion. They are pretty durable too. Like, I know what this one had been through, and it was still running great. 😅 But if you need PX-specific parts, it can get pretty hard. (like in my case, ^^) I still would recommend here if she is in good shape. 🤩😁 Hope you can get your hands on that one❗😁

The Complete Restoration in One Video! 🤩 The Chain Blade is way longer than the original, but she will mostly serve as decoration and in my opinion this fits this massive Saw. 😊 With some details I had to get a bit creative, but everything is reversible if I make another decision in the Future. I had a hard time finding a cylinder and piston, but I could get a good used one. 😍 Btw, the repro parts work, but are not that great. 😅 I will probably change the Starter to a good original one when I find one. 😁
