MLB should give Galarraga a retroactive perfect game. Today, the call would have been reviewed, and history would have been made.

While he cost him a perfect game, He still pitched a complete game shutout. Plus, I remember that game more than I remember any other perfect game that happened. Plus, technically Galarraga retired 28 hitters in a row.

I'm not a baseball fan. I've seen no hitters and the pitcher's name leaves my memory about 5 minutes later. This, on the other hand, I'll always remember. I remember the name Galarraga. I remember the ump crying. It was huge..and at the end of the day, this IS a no hitter. It's not written that way in the books, but Galarraga can, and should, absolutely be proud of the FACT he threw a no hitter.

I have an official MLB autographed baseball by Galarraga and I will hold it forever in respect for this accomplishment. I am from Milwaukee and remember Juan Nieves no hitter which was won more by great defense. Galarraga really truly earned this perfect game, not to disrespect Juan Nieves but, what an amazing game Galarraga pitched here.

This could have gotten ugly. Kudos to Galarraga and Jim Joyce for keeping it classy. Very refreshing to see grace and forgiveness. Neither one really common anymore. Jim Joyce did a great job. He got many thousands of calls correct. Hope he isn't remembered just for this. Had their been instant replay in 2010, the call would have been reversed.

I wonder if Jim Joyce ever gave that pitcher any make up calls after that.

Un juego perfecto no puede ni debe perderse en la historia del béisbol. En esta ocasión quien debió de revocar la decisión del umpire Joyce fue el umpire principal, se supone que el es la máxima autoridad en cualquier juego de béisbol. La mesa directiva de grandes ligas debió de haberle otorgado en la mesa el juego perfecto a Galarraga y castigar por racista al pésimo e infame umpire Joyce. ¿Cómo es posible que otros sucesos de juego si se resuelven en la mesa y esto no?
