Here's a Thought, Try getting a Grounding Rod from your local Hardware Store, Pound that into the ground, hook up a wire and run that in thru a window and hook that to the mat vs going thru the outlet. I wonder if the tingling is from any stray voltage on the natural line. House Electrical boxes normaly bond natural and ground together which i wonder if there could be voltage still on the ground line thru your house walls wiring. so if you go direct to a grounding rod in say the middle of your yard i feel like that's how you will get the TRUE Grounding vs going thru house. Hopefully this makes sense.

Also another thought/comment to your Cons, and don't take this the wrong way, However try grounding in the "Birthday Suit" obviously only if your comfy doing so. When siting in your chair sit your butt cheeks down on the grounding mat. You will still be grounded the same way and then you won't have to freeze your feet. Also when doing yoga since you said you like to cross your feet, If your butt cheeks are directly on the mat when your sitting and crossing you legs doing yoga there again you will be grounded. Not trying to be funny or anything but same thing when sleeping in bed with grounding sheets. best way to sleep and stay grounded is in the bday suit. I do it and i have felt a huge difference.

Thank you for sharing your advice! I'm sure using a grounding rod is very effective, but I find that using a grounding mat while indoors is just more realistic and more easy to do. I also try to ground outside as often as I can with my bare skin touching the ground, which I truly believe is the most effective method. I think I maybe didn't properly explain the tingling feeling that I felt - what I felt did not feel bad. I feel energy a lot and I feel similar tingly feelings when I do any kind of natural energy healing like reiki or deep meditations, so I don't think the tingling I felt was related to electrical voltage.

So if a ground is negative (-). And your positive (+). Your saying you have to be negative to be positive? Is it normal for you lights to dim during grounding?
@livingmy2.013 күн бұрын
Hi Jim. From my understanding, the entire concept behind earthing aka grounding, is taking our own physical bodies and connecting to the earth to reconnect with its healing benefits. Our day-to-day living - toxins, exposure to radiation from tech devices, etc, cause our bodies to store excess electrons and grounding with the earth allows us to expel those extra electrons and that leads to positive benefits like reduced inflammation, decreased stress and more. I feel like it's really fascinating stuff. You can always check out www.groundingofficial.com to learn more. I personally do not notice any issues with my lighting or devices while using my grounding mat because you are only using the grounding port in your outlet to plug the device into - it does not use electricity. I hope that helps! Thank you for your comment :) - Julia

I learned at the beginning of my personal development journey from my mindset mentors, including Abraham Hicks and Joe Dispenza, that a thought is just a belief that you keep on thinking. You can think the same thoughts so many times that it becomes embedded into your mind and therefore become your beliefs. The unfortunate thing about this process is that many people spend their time thinking about the things that they don't want or don't like in their life, therefore keeping those negative beliefs alive and active in their lives. So what can you do about it? Focus on how you want to feel and what you want to believe instead! This process can be tricky at first, But the more you practice it, the easier it becomes 💛 #Mindset #Beliefs #PersonalDevelopment

In case you didn't know - your mind believes what you tell it. So the thoughts we think and the words that we use to define ourselves are very important. Affirmations are a powerful tool that I have used throughout my personal development journey to re-write some really negative beliefs that were stopping me from living my best life and living my life most authentically. In order to overcome daily anxiety - I had to rewrite my mindset and beliefs. In order to overcome my fear of change - I had to rewrite my mindset and beliefs. In order to overcome my chronic digestive issues - I had to rewrite my mindset and beliefs. In order to believe in my ability to be a successful entrepreneur - I had to rewrite my mindset and beliefs. .... I think you see the pattern here. Once I rewired my mindset, I was able to overcome anxiety, embrace and enjoy the process of change, heal from chronic digestive issues and make consistent income as an entrepreneur. Everything all comes down to what you believe about yourself and your life. Affirmations allow you to take back control of how you feel and allow you to start rewiring your mindset to align with the goals that you have for the vision of your future. On Friday I had a breakdown moment. I think the hardest part of my personal development journey thus far has been the moments when doubt takes over and I start to think what I am working on bringing into my life - my goals and dreams - will never come true. It's hard when you are your own personal cheerleader for so many years. You're the one keeping positive, challenging the limiting beliefs, fighting the battles and negative self talk - sometimes doubt will creep in and you just have to have that release of negative feelings - doubt, fear, shame, judgment - just so you can get past it. I was listening to a @manifestationbabe podcast that day and she said even she still has moments of doubt and uncertainty and she's someone who has manifested millions of dollars, a successful business and so much more so once I let myself feel into my negative feelings that were coming up for me - I reminded myself that even really successful people have moments of doubt. It's totally normal and it's OK. So know that on your personal development journey, there will be hard times. There will be moments that challenge you deeply that almost cause you to give up on your dreams.. but I think these moments are supposed to happen and they usually happen right before a breakthrough so keep it up, feel through your emotions as they arise and keep going because your dreams and goals are worth chasing💛 #PersonalDevelopment #Breakdowns #Breakthroughs

A key thing to know about when you are working on making changes in your life is that the person you are becoming cannot be achieved without loving yourself exactly as you are right now first. It's good to have goals, dreams and ambitions and a vision of the future for what we want in our life and who we want to be, but we must not forget about the person we are now who has battled every storm, overcome every challenge and faced every hardship because she is the person who made us who we are today. She has always been there for us, in good times and in bad. So give thanks for her, show love to her - because even when we 'make it' and achieve it all, she still lives on within us. Dont forget about every version of you and every chapter of your story, because combined all of those past versions of us made us who we are, and we will never become our next level self if we don't appreciate the version of us we are right now 💛 #ourstory #personalgrowth #goalsetting #livingthedream #selflove

A moment of self reflection and story telling ✨ For those of you who haven't been around here since the beginning, I didn't always used to be someone who was happy everyday and felt physically well and was not afraid of change and trying new things. In fact, I was the exact opposite. I used to have chronic anxiety, I struggled with my physical health and I was so afraid of doing anything that was outside of my comfort zone because my nervous system was so out of whack. I didn't know how to be mindful or present and truly enjoy things because I was stuck in a state of fight or flight aka survival mode. It's only been within the last 3 years when I discovered mindset work, personal development and spirituality that I was able to heal and overcome my biggest challenges - both mentally and physically. And the beauty of it all is that that healing helped me transform back into the person I always was that had been hiding under so many years of fear, challenges and struggle - and I am so grateful for my journey. I am an example of how you can change your own life. And I show up and share my story so that you know it's possible for you too. You don't have to stay stuck in a life that doesn't feel good. You have the power to change your life, and mindset is a huge piece of that puzzle. #PersonalDevelopment #HealingStory #ChangeYourLife #Mindset

Grounding aka Earthing is the practice of physically connecting our body to the Earth. It can be done by touching the Earth's surface (ex. Walking barefoot in the grass) or can be achieved by using a grounding product. Clint Ober, the Pioneer of Grounding, discovered that grounding could be achieved indoors by using a product that was grounded itself. He then developed the first grounding products. Grounding products allow us to ground to the Earth while indoors, making it much more accessible for us to benefit Earth's healing powers. Here's the thing - if you want to change your current reality and circumstances, a little delulu is necessary! In order to achieve real change, you have to become and embody the version of you that has those things that you want before you actually have them. When I was struggling with anxiety and came across mindset work, I quickly realized that I was affirming the fact that I was an anxious person every single day. I made it my identity. I would say "I have anxiety", "I am an anxious person". With that type of self talk, I was never going to overcome anxiety. It wasn't until I changed that belief in myself that I got the result of no longer being an anxious person. You can use your mind, self talk, words and actions to achieve your goals. Ask yourself: How do you need to show up to be the person that has the things that you want? Mindset plays a huge role in who you are and who you can become. Once you believe it, you achieve it. Here's to being delulu until it comes trulu! P.S - I am working on a new offer that will help you rewire your mindset and beliefs to achieve your goals - stay tuned! & If you don't already, make sure to follow me 💛 #Delulu #Mindset #Manifestation

Ouu the growing pains! I am feeling them lately. This message is coming through at a time when I am experiencing a lot of struggle in one specific area of my life. Right now my reality is showing me a reflection of what I believed about myself in the past - the doubts and fears about being able to make a positive impact on others in a grand scale, the inability for me to make the amount of money that I dream of on my own terms - those are the 2 big ones. And yet, Because I live my life with a growth mindset and I know that I am working towards my goals every single day, I can see challenges for what they are: tests of strength, tests of desire...there's a reason these challenges arise when I am on the cusp of another uplevel. Are you serious? Are you truly ready for what you are asking the Universe for? That's what the challenges are asking you. The difference between Julia today and Julia even a few months ago is that I know that I am ready for my next level. I know that growing hurts (hence why they call it growing pains), But that to stay still when my soul is yearning to be greater and asking for more, is the worst thing I could do. I've said it once, and I'll keep saying it. I live life with a growth mindset. I live my life with purpose and vision and deep belief in what I desire will manifest for me. When you think this way, even the little hiccups and challenges that come up along your path do not phase you, Because your beliefs will override it all. You will manifest your dreams and desires. You just need to keep going, And not stop when it hurts. We are meant to grow, we are meant to fulfill our purpose and destiny. Don't stop pursuing that💛 #PersonalGrowth #GrowingPains #PersonalDevelopment #TrustTheJourney #TrustTheUniverse
