What is the difference in the high hat version and the original?

I love how many people are saying this test is stupid. Like, does it hurt so much to see two women talk about something else than men once? Would it hurt to see two men talk about something else than women?

Listen, who is funding the movie? Are men funding it? Fail. Are women funding it, pass. It's not about gender equality however I feel any woman reading this post will disagree. Y'all do that a lot when your ego is at stake. You see men have to learn how to check our egos at a young age or we are put to pasture by a better ego. Like that matters to women.

Im glad the narrator acknowledges its not a test of feminism and Bechdel acknowledges it too. There's a ton of films qualifying as feminist which don't meet the criteria. Check out the web page. And a ton of films which DO meet the requirements but hardly qualify as feminist. Almost all hardcore and softcore porn for example has at least one scene where two women talk to each other about not a man.

Dudes...If you have a Sony style VCT plate on your tripod plate, why would you side-mount your camera like that? The whole point of VCT (V-lock) is so you can keep that plate mounted in a particular spot (and properly balanced) and simply slide-click your camera on top and quickly release it. By always side-loading your camera, you have to always find the balance point every time.

Roger Corman didn't make "B movies", he made independent films. A "B movie" was a Hollywood designation for a lower budget picture that would share the bill on a double feature with an A-list film. e.g., an "A" movie would star Carey Grant and a "B" movie would star Brian Donlevy. Roger Corman had nothing to do with that, he was an independent film maker who often made films on much, much smaller budgets and schedules than any Hollywood "B" movie. Calling Corman "King of the B's" is bollocks.

Everything you need to know is told under half a minute. It's that person who made up the test, Alison Bechdel has said the test was a joke and was never meant to represent any real gauge. Joke part is that some people thought it was and took it seriously.

i think Arri is the best for shooting feature films. I'd go with the Blackmagic broadcast camera for live shows.
