Hi Pam, do you remember the TV show Hee-Haw? If so you might remember BR 549, lol. I remember having a alpha numeric phone number. And there were always old ladies talking on the party line. I think it is a brilliant idea to put together some beginners kits, I would have loved that back when I first started out on my paper crafting journey. Lovely idea! I still do some scrapbooking but mostly junk journals. I love this week's collage! I would love to find a Dick and Jane book to use in my collages. Hope you have a great week, take care. Tfs.

Thank you. Yes I do remember Hee-Haw! 😮 I had forgotten about that phone number. I found a compilation Dick And Jane book that was printed in 1984. It was in rough shape so I use that to cut out images. I have one Dick and Jane book that is from the 60’s. I want cut that one. Those from that time and further back are quite expensive. I love the images from those readers. TFW and appreciate your commenting.

Hi Pam, this collage is a beautiful and creative expression. I love how you chose a bee hive in place of a house, great out of the box thinking on that. And converting the large bee into your something mechanical, also a wonderfully creative idea. I love how you brought it all together. Rice pudding? YES I have heard of it, but I've never made it. My husband is also an Alabama boy! And his mother used to make it for him. I tend to think it is a 'southern thing' as well, because prior to moving from Florida to Georgia I had never heard of it. I grew up in northwest Florida, however my parents and grandparent were all from up north, and I don't recall any talk of rice pudding. So, yeah, probably a southern thing. Have a blessed week! Thank you for sharing!

Thank you so much. I try to think of things out of the ordinary to answer these prompts. That doesn’t always happen but I try. I did like how the mechanical bee came out. You gotta love those Alabama boys! I thought rice pudding was mostly a southern thing but it seems it is more international than I imagined.
