Please tell me, would you advise buying limited edition gold bars such as pamp lunar legends or lunar calendar series or pamp 2025 koi fish good luck bars, are these much less likely to be counterfeited??

the reality is you'd be completely fooled by a tungsten core gold plated bar. also, what a joke of an advise is to inspect packaging... like gold is supposed to be used in plastic casing, lol.

Real problem here is that you have handy a “real” proven bar. Try determining authenticity without. Much more difficult without expensive equipment.

Very interesting video. I can't afford to buy much gold but when I do, I buy from the Royal Mint here in the UK - and hopefully I can be fairly confident they're trustworthy. I've never been to New Zealand, but hope to do so one day!

there are tungsten fake bars out there they fool even a 30k xray machine plus the thickness is the same. honestly this one is very cheap and bad fake.

Yes, good fakes are hard to come by because they do require quite a thick gold coating. Meaning they are expensive to produce as the require real gold to cover the tungsten.
