Thank you for the info, unfortunately I watched hours after I got mine. Now I'm sitting here trying to figure out how to get all of these braids up plus wear my c-pap mask comfortably. I'm so disappointed with the length! They are wayyyyyy too long!!

I will never get this style again! Too much work. I can not get braids and work this hard. They are expensive too.😢

I’m so happy I saw this video, before I tryed the bohemian box braid with synthetic hair. lol. I’ll use human hair. But today is Sunday there’s no hair supplies open so I just do regular box braids.. thanks for sharing..

I spent a crap ton just on human curly hair so it would not tangle. Anything else will be tangled in two days, also way too much hair left out. But I don’t know much and this is my first time doing my own bohemian braids. If I’m cutting this out after a week I’ll eat my words hahaha

My first time getting my hair done just for my golden birthday i hateee hate hate this this got me so mess up and like next 2 weeks i did it for and nobody didn't even tell me she just left me to put it in my hair knowing my birthday is next 2 weeks and that hairdresser got some bad attitude and mind you this i only get this 2 days in my hair now and i already hate it I can't even sleep i get so mad!!! This is the worst idea ever I'm never getting back goddess braids ever in life 😭

You should never I repeat never use synthetic curly hair for boho braids, only human and not human blend btw, 100% human hair, the difference is evident.

Next time use less curly hair,, and freshing them up in the morning would only take about 3-5 minutes then you're out the door,, I never put the curly hair on all my braids and I never deal with them getting matted up like this

damn, a customer at the hair supply store told me to get real hair too. but it was too much for me so i ended up getting synthetic to save money. when did you realize it started getting nappy? i usually dont keep my braids in for very long. probably 3 weeks max that i kept my box braids in lol. ill ask my hair braider to do less curly pieces and let him know about this. Thank you for letting us know!

I knew loose synthetic hair would be a terrible idea with box braids. This video was confirmation but I still went and got goddess braids. 😂 Sis it was tangled up from day 1 and never untangled again. I Just cut out the curls today and it is sooooo much more manageable. Never getting this style with synthetic hair again 🤦🏾‍♀️

OMG! 3DAYS in and I'm experiencing this and it's bad, thank you,, cause I thought it was just me!, I went started cutting curls as if today! Bought exactly what you said and I'm just over it! October 27th and my birthday tomorrow and this is not working in my head! Plus my hair is thick, she didn't even try to it correctly so it's not great at my parts! HELP! LOL I SO FEEL THIS VIDEO! found this video a month into getting goddess braids. It’s been so irritating trying to maintain them with minimal knowledge going in. I work a really physically demanding job where i have to have my hair pulled back or in a bun most days. i thought this style would look super cute on me but i just don’t have the time to do the daily stuff they require sadly. thank you for letting the girls know before hand! i definitely would have gone for regular box braids again if i had seen this before 😭

If you properly maintain your hair and use human hair as the leave out you won't have this problem. I didn't this my second time getting them. Plus make sure you spray and braid your hair into 3/4 big braids before bed and use the proper cap for bed.

Get your braids done then crochet the curly hair in so when the curly hair tangles you can just cut it out.

Just get human hair or move on. It's not brain surgery guys. Good grief. Synthetic wigs tangle so why wouldn't synthetic hair for boho braids do the same 🙄

I’m having this same issue and my curls are human hair! Not the best human hair but it’s still human and tangled up bad. On top of that she didn’t dip it to preserve the curls. So all my braids are so stiff smh… did she dip yours ?

Sounds like you used synthetic hair..it gets tangled worse than human hair
