Ofcourse GPs can perform surgery. Everyone is jut afraid to become irrelevant which is the only reason to try and prevent a GENERAL practitioner from doing minor surgical procedures. It reeks of insecurity if you ask me.

What happens if the sinus was perforated and the implant was left in? My surgeon sqeezed my nose during drilling and air came though before the implant was placed. Never mentioned it ,but said be sure to finish antibiotics. What symptoms should i be looking for?
