Hi, Does this Gaugemaster provide pure DC or it has halfwave like Duette? How many minimal volts it can provide? 0.1-0.2V or 1V?
@devilscoachman7926 күн бұрын
This controller is pure DC with a minimum voltage of 1 volt. The simulator is brilliant and the 14 volt maximum voltage together with the 2.5 amps provide plenty of power for my older locomotives. Thank you for watching and commenting Regards Kev

@@devilscoachman79 for me the most important thing is prototypical behavior... Start point and slowest speed are the most difficult for any electric motors. Did you measure 1 volt by yourself? That is absolute minimum? Actually I found Gaugemaster very nice indeed, a lot of great reviews. I have Titan and Fleischmann, however starting voltage (1.5 volt) is out of range my locomotive could do, for example HAG.

HST Driver - "I'm the fastest Train on the tracks" Type 4 Driver - "Hold my Newcastle Brown Ale"
@devilscoachman795 ай бұрын
The type 4 is powered by a series 10 Gaugemaster 20 volt controller. The HST is running on a M0 Gaugemaster 14 volt controller. I would have been better swapping them round, the HST should be going faster than the brush type 4! I do like running at a higher voltage, I find it much more fun this way. Thank you for watching and commenting. Kind Regards Kev

Why is there no N Gauge running anymore ?
@devilscoachman79 Жыл бұрын
The N gauge line is still running, I left it in place, it`s the left hand line, look at 1:39 a Graham Farish class 25 races past with MK1 coaches. I have 3 gauges on the new layout, N, 00/H0, and TT:120 on the inside. Thank you for watching, Regards Kev

Hey Kev it’s Nige from work. I see you’re still doing the loft railway. It’s looking great pal. I’ve started a new layout in the spare bedroom. I’m using Hornsby Dublo 3 rail. It’s great old stuff to work with. I’ll probably do some KZbin videos of my own once it’s properly up and running. Keep up the good work dude. Nige. 🚂🚂🚂

How many wagons ? The older stuff does seem to perform better
@devilscoachman792 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching and for your comment, There are 37 Seacow wagons, these were all being sold off at £6.99 each from Modelzone when they were in administration - ( I bought them all at the same time) The Lima Class 37 is a fantastic model, I love the ringfield motor as they are easy to service. I am not a fan of any of the new stuff, they are not designed for running for great lengths of time and failures are very common, The Hornby HST being the most recent, and I have had many Bachmann steam locos fail with motors burning out, the 9f being the worsed. Regards Kev
@PiddleInTheMarshbyMarkIreland2 жыл бұрын
@@devilscoachman79 I know all about motors burning out. I have replaced most Dapol ones, the exception being the 50 and 68, and most of the Farish ones, although not the steam ones so far
