Ryzen 7700, a fairly modern CPU and the computer set in the power plan to best performance, even older hardware set "best performance" in the Windows Power Plan can help if you can keep your computer cool. I also have it on an older computer, a 4600hs, I will note HOI4 is unplayable on that machine with Windows 11 by the late 1930s, a mobile chip, with a mod called "core with compliance" you can find several versions on The Steam Workshop, some work, some don't, that can really help with late game performance be removing AIs from the game, and cutting down on the number of units the game is trying to track on the map. FeedbackIRL has brought up tuning off the weather I think to improve performance on older hardware. I can't recall off the top of my head which video he spoke of it in where he talks briefly about improving the games performance.

Out of an abundance of caution given how licensed music and KZbin works I just cut the audio to avoid dealing with copyright strikes in the future. Ed Sheeran, Steve Mac, and Johnny McDaid are the Original creators of the song "Celestial" , and I don't know how they, the recording studio and Nintendo/Game Freak/The Pokemon Company will arrange things in the future. I will hopefully find a link to Ed Sheeran's KZbin with the song.

I'm a long-time Pokemon nerd (since generation 1!) and I'd be more than happy to give you some tips that could make your playing experience for this and all subsequent Pokemon games a lot more streamlined, if you are interested. I'm not trying to nitpick or anything, I just see you making some mistakes that a lot of people make (because Game Freak doesn't explain Pokemon stats very well in-game). They are pretty simple fixes. I won't go into the more complex stuff right now, I'll start with a really simple one. Your movesets on your Pokemon are a bit redundant. For example: Armarouge is running Psyshock, Expanding Force, Armor Cannon, and Flamethrower. I can see some of these being good choices, but you have two fire-type moves and two psychic-type moves in your kit, leaving you with no coverage at all. Instead, you could run something like: Armor Cannon, Psyshock, then replace Expanding Force with something like Shadow Ball to deal with pesky Ghost types who are a threat to you (or other psychic-types). You could replace Flamethrower with something like Energy Ball to deal with Water Types. Or, you could replace one of those non-STAB moves with Calm Mind, on turns where you want to beef up your special attack and special defense and ensure a clean sweep of the enemy team. I have some other tips I could give, but I'll start with this and see if it's even wanted. Let me know, and good luck on the rest of your playthrough! EDIT: Also, your Meowscarada and the enemy Polteageist didn't have the same speed stat - you are significantly faster than it is, it's just that when you hit it the first time, its ability "Weak Armor" activated and it got a 100% speed stat boost (it shows up as "Polteageist's speed rose sharply!". "Sharply" means two stages of increase. Each stage of a stat increase is a 50% boost).

You are correct for online play and tournament play. This is a story mode team, where level grinding is easier than EV point grinding, which was only easy to do in story in Generations 6 and 7. Here I use how I can out level, and have a full 6 Pokemon to chose from to cover as many types with same type attack bonus and weakness as possible, and then use how at times Pokemon have different defense stats in a match up instead when I have to brute force things. For example going up against a Chancey Armarouge would need to hit its defense stat rather than special defense stat to do real damage in that case Psyshock is more useful, and I don't always want to have to swap out to get the perfect match up, when I can get a secondary one un-optimal match. Online I would have a properly trained for their role Pokemon team, with the proper stats, leveling of EV, would hyper train the Pokemon for maximum IV stats, along with making sure the natures are correct for optimum stat distributions. I am just enjoying the story more for this play through.

@@AREAHIGHONE Ok, but I didn't say anything about EVs or IVs, I was moreso talking about the moveset. I see what you mean about having moves that hit defense instead of special defense though. I just wanted to make sure you knew about it. Like having Pawmot using a special attack (thunderbolt) as well as Nuzzle (which I assume is for guaranteed paralysis and/or statusing annoying enemies to slow them down), as well as a third physical electric-type move. As long as you're aware of it, I'm happy. GameFreak just doesn't explain this stuff very well so I like to make sure I tell people, because I see a lot of people running 3 or 4 fire-type moves on one pokemon lol.

I have been playing Pokemon since Generation 3. Nuzzle is also great for capturing Pokemon, falseswipe is better, but chip damage and a status effect 100 percent, except against limber ability or electric types, is really helpful.There also having a secondary high PP move for grinding through places like Gyms, the over world is helpful. Armor Cannon has such low PP, I would be constantly visiting Pokemon centers if I used it much, and did not have flame thrower to fall back on.

@@AREAHIGHONE I usually just have a Gallade in my box that I pull out whenever I want to go out capturing a bunch of Pokemon, with Hypnosis, False Swipe, etc. That, or Breloom with Spore and False Swipe, holding Toxic Orb and with the Poison Heal ability to keep it up longer when trying to catch a legendary. Nuzzle is really good too. I used it almost exclusively in Gen 8 with Toxtricity so I didn't have to level a Gallade for capturing Pokemon. Just wanted to make sure you knew that Pawmot using a special attack (thunderbolt) with only 70 base special attack wasn't going to be as effective in battle, especially since one of his abilities is Iron Fist. But I get it, you're covering for low PP so you don't have to rest or have picnics very often, as well as the rare circumstance when a physical attack would deal less damage because the opponent is defensive and not specially defensive... I guess? Either way it's quality of life, which I can understand.
