I know I say it every time, but am just loving it. Love the rabbit hole. Back in the day Jen there was a song out that had lavender blue words in it. Can't remember if it was the title or just the words. So you are right its called lavender but looks blue.

I like the inserts - I find that my girls aren't using the books I make for them as photo albums, they tend to use them for journals/diaries ... lol ... my youngest told me "but Ma, everything is digital now - we don't need to store photos" ... I thought that was very interesting.

Yes to the Little Sister folio addition. Love being able to use templates interchangeably. Also favor the heart envelope in the final version with the wax seal and flap overhanging on the outside of the flip. Having so much fun !!

This is looking good. My least favorite item is the white/cream tab added to turn the vellum page. To me, it needs to be maybe a pastel green color. It just stands out so brightly my eye is drawn to it rather than being drawn to your lovely floral painting. Just my thoughts as you always ask for them. I love the myriad of embellishments we have now to choose from. ❤❤

This is beautiful! Have you come across pergamano, or parchment craft, before? If not, it uses a special kind of parchment which looks visually similar to vellum but it has qualities that allow you, when you run something blunt ISH over it, to make white marks on the paper. One of the tools you can buy for it are styluses with balls (various sizes) on the end, and they can be used to sort of stretch the paper down into a soft surface (without breaking it). This has the impact of both creating a visual quality, like you'd draw with a pencil, but also a textural quality, in that you can feel the indentation/bump. The point of all this is to say: something I've seen/done (a very long time ago) is to use those styluses with balls to 'draw' flowers, which you can then colour/paint afterwards. That's something that would be very suited to the technique you demonstrated here, and would look beautiful in your album. 😊

I’m a huge fan of the purple envelope with the lighter color pages. Have to admit with as much as I adore the little sister edition…I’m not a huge fan of inserting it here. But that’s just me.

Cute, I like the two separate thing with that wax seal. I also liked the photo flip page

Next time you are painting small things, put some dbl sided tape on a silicone mat or glass mat then stick the items to the tape and they are a breeze to paint. You may have to touch the tape a few times to take some of the sticky off.
